Check the current statutes to determine if that loophole hasn't been handled since the article was written in 2000.

edit:  still written that way in the ILCS.

Curious if that issue hasn't been tested yet, if it still exists.




Pity that Illinois (via Chicago) doesn't value its citizens lives enough to allow self defense.

Things have been bad for so many years in Ill. it would be great to see that they have finally wised up.  

This is the kind of law I like to see, wish every state would do it.
