.223 VS .233
« on: December 29, 2007, 01:39:19 AM »
OK !!!
Beginning student dumb question #1.
I am finding two different calibers but both are suggested .223 rifles.
I am, at first blush, that both can/are used in the .223, but, what is the difference ??
Please be patient more dumber questions too follow.
Blessings

I'm not familiar with the 233. I'd stick with the 223. Loads of work has been done to get the most out of it,already. That makes it much easier on a new guy than having to do load development on your own. I use or have used at least three different loads in my AR-15's. Longer ranges demand bigger bullets. The 62gr. is easy to get & is good to 300 yards in a fast twist barrel.
