Anyone know of a source that has clips for a 788 in .308? It's no fun as a hard to load single shot.

I have the same rifle/caliber and will start to look for another clip for mine. You might try local gun shows or the auction sites ...

. They are not going to be cheap.

If all else fails, try Wisner's. I know they won't be cheap. Also, I "THINK" a clip from a .243 or a 7-08 will work. Maybe have a smith open up the notch on the end.

Siskiyou thanks a lot. I ordered two as soon as I seen the price. I had seen one for sale at 75.00 before. 27.00 seems like a steal.

Please let us know what you think of the clip when your receive them. I am under the impression they are made by Remington.

Clip seems to be well made. Doesn't lock up really tight in the front but it doesn't affect the way it feeds. Also factory clip could fit same for all I know cause this is the first magazine I've had for the gun. Happy with my purchase.
Thanks for all your help.
