Makarovs C&R?
« on: August 11, 2004, 11:53:06 AM »
Im having trouble finding an answer.  Are any/all/some/none of the Bulgarian Makarovs C&R eligible?  I went to Century International Arms website, but it says nothing about C&R eligible (and without having the C&R lic yet I cant access the dealer section.)
So, yes or no?

Bulgarians are NOT C&R...East German and Russian are.

Makarov is a soviet pistol chambered in 9x18 makarov caliber made by the soviets and their satellites E Germany and Bulgaria  the rest that the importers are calling makarov are using the caliber to try to pass off the gun as a makarov. It would be similar to calling all 22 magnums Winchesters because they shoot Winchester Magnum rimfire. The best pistol in this caliber is the CZ82 ,small ,compact, yet holds 12 rds. and c&r The russian and german made makarovs are increasing in value to the point were you may not want to use them as carry guns.
the nation that forgets it defenders will itself be forgotten
