« on: January 19, 2009, 12:54:12 PM »
I find Lone Wolf offers three BBL length for the Glock 21; stock ,Tactical [5.32"] and Extended length {6.0"}
is one better that the other for general  shooting using cast bullets ?

Any of the above mentioned barrels will serve you well. They are all traditional rifling so lead bullets are not a problem. For my use the gun is large enough without an extended barrel. I like the stock length. If you are going to use it for hunting, the extended barrel might give you a few more fps, but the .45acp is not exactly a hunting gun anyway. I have the Lone Wolf barrels in my Glocks and have been pleased with their performance. I think you will be as well. Here is a pic of my 17 and 22 with the LW barrels.

Any will work well with lead. The only advantage to longer versus standard length will be a slight increase in velocity with same ammo in the different barrel lengths. I also prefer standard length.
