Pedersoli is perhaps the best of the "mass produced" muzzleloaders but over the past few years they have gotten a bit costly. I think for the price of the "Rocky Mt. Hawken" I would perfer a custom build or even an "in-the-white" custom. Pedersoli barrels are pretty good but I feel that Green Mountain barrels are better round ball shooters, at least in my own experience GM barrels do out shoot Pedersoli barrels with the traditional patched round ball.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.
