Grendel ammo is available in multiple price brackets. I just bought 3 boxes of the Wolf 120gr for $11 a box and it shoots just fine. This is a cheap enough price for plinking/hunting. I will be reloading for it in the future.
The Grendel is extremely sweet to shoot, recoil is barely more than 223 and the report is very manageable too, my barrel is 19.5". Check it out on the "future weapons" channel, or watch it on Youtube. Get an upper and just slap it on your AR15 lower, lock and load and have fun!

Y'know, it's times like these that I really hate the gun laws here in Oz.
It's not like I'm someone who'd love to own a whole locker full of semi-autos and black rifles but a M1a and an AR15 would set me up for life.
There's no way they'lll ever let us have them again here in Australia though and it's all because of one deranged pillock who the authorities should've put into an institution years before.
But I digress.
Out of interest, what rim diameter does the Grendel have?

I don't know the official diameter but measuring my brass, .438" or 11.13mm. We are lucky in the US with what we're allowed to own, that is for sure. As an Englishman, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I moved here. I do not know how long this will last, there are certainly many out there who would love to take this freedom from us. In the meantime, I'll pay my NRA dues and shoot responsibly, with a big fat grin on my face!!!
