The guys that load for shotguns sometimes can give you bags that make great sandbags. Sorry I can't help much, but, I like the Protecktor series. They just look good to me, don't actually use them.

Here's my current pistol rest that I use at the range for sighting in and informal target practice.  It made by a company called Shots Gunsmithing.  This one my son got me for Christmas.

I've also used an old Wichita rifle rest.

I don't know how much you were looking to spend. I use a low tech trick I was shown by a former secret service agent. It's just a thick work sock filled with whatever dry beans are on sale in your area. I always keep a couple in my truck in a ammo can, which sets up pretty well into a a rest. One close to full and one about half full with either a knot or a zip tie to close them. I'll go get them and post some pics. they also work well in combination with an allen rest

My favorite Prairie Dog setup

and another

This folding table I made with that Caldwell front bag or Bench model Harris bi pod and a wedge rear bag works good too.

Dave's middle picture looks very much like a setup I bought a camo version of when I was going to be on crutches for about 12 months 3-4 years ago.   I couldn't get down on the ground except by falling and then couldn't get back up.   Bought it for predator hunting in hopes I could carry it on my back like a pack to get to stands since it came broken down in a nylon bag and was easy to assemble in the field.      Turned out to be too heavy for broken ground on crutches, so it still sits unused out in storage.   Mine swivels 360 degrees and has an adjustable armrest for shooting rifles, but I can't remember if it has a pistol platform like Dave's has.   BTW, I still managed to predator hunt while on crutches with a Safety Seat that broke down into a belt case for easy carry.  Is that a dedicated predator hunter or what?

Have also been a serious long range varmint hunter with specialty pistols for decades.   I've built a lot of portable shooting benches, have a mechanical BR rifle rest, tried my commercial and home made rests and bags, etc.   What I settled on for shooting off a bench is Harris BR swivel bipods.    I can shoot long range much more accurately with this setup than any of the others.   It's what I used for the 1000 yard matches when I shot them with my specialty pistols.   While I have several, my bipods all have the quick release modification so they are very fast to switch between firearms when the shooting gets fast and furious in the digger fields and the barrels get hot.

Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

I'm pretty sure they are one and the same Ladobe. I made the mods to it for pistol rest to my liking. Not pictured, is another stabilizing leg that pins to the riser. Just makes it more solid for playing with long range PD's.
And yes they are too heavy to pack around very far, but works pretty nice out of 360 degree ground blind.
