new hamshire hunting license
« on: April 07, 2008, 04:25:35 AM »
hey guys,
need some help here. next year ill be making a move to manchester new hamshire to go to begin my college career. on the way up i noticed some mighty fine hunting country, kinda thing i wouldnt wana pass up. problem is, i wont technically be a NH resident, just a student. Seeing as i dont have a meal plan filling up my mini freezer with some venison and trout sounds pretty nice to me. So im just wondering how should i go about getting licensed, am i looking at getting out of state license fee's or is there a way around that kind of expense?

Depends what their residency law is. It varies state by state. Call the DNR.

Are you going to be staying in NH when you go to college? 6months in the state qualifies you as a resident, I think. Out of state tags aren't all that expensive in NH. I live in Ma. and have hunted there. I never got mine last year but did for the 2006 season. I bought them at Wal-Mart for archery season.
