neck sizer question

  Just purchased neck sizer for my .243.  I ran some brass that was shot through a different rifle that I plan to reload for. I chambered the older brass in the new rifle with normal tension (bolt action) so I assume it will work.

   This brass has been FL re sized 4-5 times so I am hoping to get a couple more rounds out of the before they retire. I think FL sizing might be asking a lot from the brass.

   Am I good to go just neck sizing the brass shot from a different as long as it chambers? Do I need to champher the neck sized brass?  Thanks, TVC15

If the cases fit the new chamber you should be good to go , a bolt gun will be more forgiving as far as case sizing goes , as for the champher once you have done it you should not have to do it again unless you have trimmed the cases and have a sharp edge to remove .

Just remember that if you have more than one gun in the same cal. the brass fireformed in one chamber may need to be FL sized to fit a tighter spec. chamber of the others .
