I have one that a friend of mine brought back from Iwo Jima. He was bayoneted with the it by an unfriendly. He lost the bayonet over the years but in the 50's he had a gunsmith in upper Michigan make a sporter out of it. It looks like a weatherby mark five diamonds and all. Best looking military sporter I have ever seen. Of course the safety wasn't changed. I'm a custom knifemaker and even willing to do some trading.
