Howdy
Anyone know if Remington ever chambered a gun in 308 Norma?
Seen one in a shop last week think it was a model 721.
It was a older gun with a step in the barrel where the rear sight sits.
The 308 Norma stamp in the barrel looked factory but I did not buy it.

In the 721, the only 30 cals were 30-06 and 300 H&H Mag. Remington never has had the 308 Norma Mag as a standard chambering. Awesome re chamber though. I might even consider one if I ever see one.

Ok I went back and looked closer it is a model 721 but not a factory job.
They are asken 349.00 with a old weaver scope chief 3x9.I already have a 30/338 in a old model 700 but it has a heavy barrel. Not a packing gun but a good shooter.
