We've offered to host and take care of it but they are apparently wanting someone to do it for free for them. Might be they will NEVER have a website.  ::)

They don't and won't promote any kind of handloading. This is a group whos foundation is built on a gun that benefits almost exclusively on handloading. Not my cup of tea.

My I have some input? The TCA membership subscription fees does not pay for all the magazine costs. T/C gives a large money support. T/C said ,no reloading data and some other restraints in the ONE GOOD SHOT magazine for their support.  Things that I picked up along the way. Best that I can do.

So, with the website on hold, how does one find out about this organization, or join/subscribe to their publication?

I belonged for around ten years at the beginning of the TCA and I quit when I read in a monthly gun magazine that the Encore was being introduced. As a long time member I felt that we members should have known through the organization that a completely new pistol was being introduced by T/C Arms. When I mailed my reason for dropping out I expressed my thoughts that the officers were probably jockeying around trying to get the collector desirable lowest serial numbers possible but the general membership was kept in the dark.

Contenders are still the most accurate pistols around and I use mine occasionally but as for the TCA -no way.

For me, the TCA is a worthwhile membership.  I received the latest issue of One Good Shot today see that their offering a 21" matte stainless OCTAGON Contender barrel in your choice of cartridge, cost $355.  While this is about $25 more than what a factory bull barrel would cost, it's not an octagon.  For me, it boils down to this, is it worth the additional $25 to have a 'unique' barrel, yes.  I've availed myself to some of the past offers and intend to do so again.  Additionally, I find that the articles, which are written by the actual members, to be very informative and interesting.  I do wish though, that there was some definitive work out there in print  which told the history of T/C and it's firearms.

This quarters magazine has an article on "Charting T/C's Numerous Black Powder Offerings" and another giving a listing of the Knives that T/C has offered. Th mag just gets better every month.
Neal
PS. I was told that the reason no reloading stuff was in TOGS mag was the lawyer thing. And I am going to order one of the octagon barrels, I got one of the ICONs.
