How are ya gonna be using it? I have 2 different holster for my BH. One I for carry on the side the other is a crossdraw style. The crossdraw is best for me if I'm gonna be spending any time in a tree stand. Mine has a 7 1/2'' barrel, though.

Terry,
Both of my holsters are made by Triple K. I got mine thru Cabelas, but have seen the same ones at Sportsman's Warehouse for less. They both use a leather thong around the hammer to hold the gun in. They come form fitted. You may want to look at a belt also.

Terry,

I bought my belt without laying hands on it first. If I had it to do over, I'd buy a belt thats made with a double thickness for leather. That way it'd be sturdier and not want to roll over from the weight of the gun.
Just a little something else to ponder while yer searching.

Last holster i bought for a BH was an El Paso saddlery holster, they
make very good leather products. I had a 10" barrel and bought the calvary
type w/the snap down flap.
You might look at Texasjacks.com

Don't know what your definition of "a lot" is but all mine are by Mitch Rosen.   I'll pay the extra to get a better product and know it's built by hand as i want it not just on some mass production assembly line.
