Well, this good friend sells wood (custom cut).... so takes lots of free 'samples' of wood for me LOL

I bet quarter sawn sycamore would be really nice. I'll have to see if he has any.
I still like this bowl I did up for a wedding gift. The grain couldn't of been nicer, I don't think. It's made out of canary wood.....
