Good! I'm glad it was that simple. And I have to say I agree with Redhawk. For a 'working' gun, a Ruger is a great value. and I enjoy my Rugers. But as I compared my Gaucho with my New Vaquero the other day, I was still surprised how much heavier the New Vaquero was than the gaucho. The Gaucho is built to the same size and heft of the old Colt's. And even though the 'New' Vaquero is built on a smaller chassis than the Blackhawks, I was surprised at how much more bulky and heavier it still was than a SAA size gun. So for hunting, I vote of the Ruger, but for a nice all around, easy packing gun, any of the SAA Colt's or clones get my vote. I believe when I get the blued 5 1/2" Gaucho out of layaway, I will have the barrel cut to 4". What a sweet package that will make. 44 Man.
