Found this on the auction tonight. It is used, so may not be what you are looking for. Looks like mine.

MM3-
Totally understand that one. I've been layed off most of the winter but have worked 3 days in a row, so am hoping it's over and I can start to get the balance sheet leveled out. Will keep an eagle eye out anyway - love to look for them. Reminds me that I did get a good deal on mine, also.

Well its too late now. I didn't have the cash but when I opened the like I saw that it is now sold. Ohh well.

I have an MK2 in 30-06 and really like this rifle. I did have to have the trigger worked to get rid of the excessive creep and weight. The only draw back is its seems to only like 150 grain bullets. I have experimented with numerous factory 165s, 180, 200 and even 220s. With the Hornady 150 lite mags smokin out of the barrel at 3100, its an absolute tack driver. 180s are not bad but not good enough for my liking. I was thinking about using this gun for a inland griz hunt in BC next year but I've decided to pick up up 338 mag instead. SO maybe its not all that bad that the Ruger won't do 180s, its given me a reason to buy yet another gun..... I don't want to try using 150's on a griz.

I know if I hand loaded I could likely solve the problem with the bigger bullets. Just don't have the time.

I love mine!!

I've got two of them, a 25-06 wal/blu, and a 260 Rem All Weather/SS. And yes, I even LOVE the "boat paddle stock". My son has claimed the 260 Rem as his own, which facillitated my 25-06 acquisition.

That was quite a bargain by the way. I bought it from a coworker a few years back, who was in need of money. In addition to the Ruger was dies, brass and bullets (approx $100 worth) for the 25-06 and a Savage 10FP 223 that was a tackdriver. All for $600. I grew tired of lugging the 10FP around ans sold it for $250. A few weeks ago I tracked down the date of mfr through the serial # and figured out he had only had the 25-06 a little over a year at most.

I have a Ruger 77 Mark 2 in 270 Winchester w/22” barrel with iron sights.

I have used this rifle with 150 grain bullets and IMR-4831 with superb accuracy.  Everything is stock even the trigger no adjustments or worries.

I would like to buy a Hogue Over Molded stock with full bed.

Mine wears a set of Warne QD rings and a Burris Fullfield II with ballistic plex scope.  I can quickly remove the scope and use the iron sights if needed.

I have 3  77 MKII ,.300 win mag , .270 win  and 30-06 all are great rifles IMO.
I have a preference for the "classic american " bolt action. They are clean , no nonsense all business yet look good.
For the money , the simply cant be beat .
Hope Ruger remains successful .
