I sent a 17 HMR back to the factory because it was not holding anything close to a decent group. They are fitting 22 MRF and 22 LR barrels to the receiver while it is there.
Question: What may I reasonably expect for group sizes from each of these barrels? The 17 and Mag barrels are heavy weights and the LR barrel is standard weight. When I test a new rifle for accuracy I usually use a 24 power target scope to get it dialed in then put a reasonable power on for hunting/plinking.
