At least someone takes care of seniors.

For those that don't know about it, if you are a Florida resident and are over 65, Georgia will let you hunt and freshwater fish for free. Simply go to your county office and get the free Complimentary Senior hunting and Fishing license. Florida also allows Georgia seniors the same privilege.
And I think Georgia may have that same deal with some of the other states as well.

Good for both GA and FL.  But that's not so here in NC, our state and local gubbermints are 'fair" enough stick it to everyone equally, there are  no breaks for anyone on anything at any age or income level.

We don't even have reciprocal fishing agreements on shared lakes with our neighboring states!  So I fish in SC border lakes with non-resident GA license, and haven't bought a NC licensee for anything in 20 years.  Don't intend to either.
Common sense is an uncommon virtue
