Got my first kill on a groundhog today! Just sttin in my living room watchin TV when  I heard my beagle go crazy outside. I was wondering if there is any particular reason to take em out/ Do they destroy crops or just make good targets? I had to get the sucker, he could of about takin my tiny liitle pooch.

it depends what a person gets irratated by.   some folks dont like holes dug up.   others dont like critters around there buildings.   around here they arent in sufficient numbers to cause crop problems, so most folks dont mess with em.
