« on: May 15, 2008, 02:02:06 PM »
THis looked very interesting to me and I am tempted to get one for warm weather use.

Have any of you used one and if so does it work as well as the add makes it look?

Yes I had one gave it a try, however I dont as a rule wear casual slacks mostly jeans and the drawing motion for me wasnt as smooth or quick as you will see the salesmen demostrate, however when wearing it you will look more manly and find sitting alot more uncorfatable.   JIM

I've got one that I carried my M-49 Bodyguard in for several years.  For that size revolver it worked well, but the "hook" that holds the pager is pretty flimsy and broke long ago.  I wired it together and continued to use it until that failed.  I've been thinking of sending it back for repair but for that price it shouldn't have broken.  I tried it with a full size 9mm auto, and while it worked, that big a weapon was kinda uncomfortable.  I've been thinking about trying another one for my 2" Medium Frame 44 revolver since it's pretty hard to carry concealed!

Mine is:
Uncomfortable to wear, slow to draw, and looks like I have a tumor. That's the best I can say about it.

I have one and use it on occasion, usually when wearing a suit or slacks and a jacket.  I don't find it uncomfortable or awkward to were, and can draw fairly fast when standing.  The major bad point for this holster is you cant draw from a sitting position.
My carry gun when using the holster is an AMT Backup in .40.
