Paper patch loading question??

When loading for the paper patch bullets, does Goax FFg need to be compressed?  I am just getting started with paper patch loading and have done some reading on paper patch loading but I have not seen where they mention compression. Any help would be appreciated. I have the book Paper Patch jacket and Hunting with Buffalo Rifles by Mike V.

Try your question down at the Paper Patch forum.  A couple guys  there shoot the smoky stuff and may be able to help.
