Tandy moccasin pattern help...BIG FEET!
« on: January 04, 2008, 05:58:43 PM »
No, not Bigfoot!

I would like to make a pair of the Tandy moccasins...I think they call them boots... the ones that come slightly above the ankle.  I have seen the patterns, but they only go to ~size 11.5 or so, and I have size 15 feet.

Has anybody tried enlarging the patterns? What is the best way to do that?  Does anyone besides Tandy sell  patterns, hopefully  for NORMAL size feet, like mine?  :D   Thanks, guys.

You have to take the dimensions of the pattern, and increase them equally by the % across the board to make a bigger size...  By the time you go that far, you might as well trace your foot only leather and make yourself some custom slips.
