30-06 Bergara barrel range report

 I got out to the range and put my new Bergara barrel through it's paces.

 During the initial sight in I would fire two rounds of Barnual steel cased ammo and then clean the bore. I repeated this for a total of 8 rounds in the process of getting the Leupold VX-III 3.5x10 zeroed. After a final cleaning and one more Russian round fired as a fouling shot I settled down to shoot for a couple groups. The load was a Sierra 150grn Gameking loaded in a LC62 MATCH case. The charge was a start load of 49.0grs of Varget with a WLR primer, The bullets were seated .040 off the lands for a COL of 3.220 velocity was not taken at this time

 The first group measured 1.52", Being rather pleased with that I proceeded to fire a couple more rounds with the handloads bringing the scope to it's desired ZERO. After allowing the rifle to cool I punched the bore again fired another fouling shot and shot the second group of the day. I was altogether happy with the .82" that this group measured. These were the only groups attempted for as I was tapped out on ammo. Altogether I'm VERY happy with the performance of this barrel so far

 This barrel has some real promise, More load development and trigger time is warranted possibly some 110 V-maxes or 165grn SP's

Krochus, thanks for the range report. Looks like you have a shooter. So the second group tried was
under 1". That is really good when you consider that you do not know as yet what this barrel REALLY
likes. You have alot of bullets like the BT, SST, Accubonds & many others. Besides, with the 1-10 twist
the barrel will likely shoot 165's & 180's even better. Congrats!!!

 I agree, as good as the preliminary results are with a little load development things should only get better ;D

I see this is a very old post, but figured this is the easiest place to ask again.

How has these barrels turned out to be, in accuracy, quality, and any customer service experiences.  I am new to TC's bought a barrel before I bought a frame, but I'm always looking for a good deal.  If the Bergara's are doing OK, I'd like to know.  Especially saving a couple hundred on ML barrels.

I read the other 5 pages of of not so useful "barrel info" and would like to keep to the subject of barrel quality, not west vs. east habbabalew.
