Spinafish, The Marlin Marauders do exist but are rare. They are not marked Marauder anywhere on the gun but rather are marked "RC". They do have a letter for the year of mfg. They were only produced in 1963 & 1964. The straight grip and 16&1/4" barrel are the most noticeable features but the front sight is dovetailed into the barrel rather than on a ramp. The stock is fluted behind the grip. The forends are longer than some models, meaning they extend farther past the barrel band.
There were only 5,856 produced with about 65% made in 30/30 caliber and the balance in 35rem.
