It gives a quite clear picture of just what the Islamic threat is, both here in the US and around the world. It gives a rundown of the more recent attacks against us.
terrorist attacks that we tend to not keep in mind or coalesced together, so the total impact is diluted. We are in a "frog in the cook pot" scenario now, and many
do not even have a clue that the temperature is rising.
Some folks here think that many of us are crying wolf, could be..but more likely it is just that they do not keep even a short mental record of the terrorist
acts committed around the world..and have not noticed that we are in a much hotter world than we were just 10 years ago.
The video states that since 9/11 there have been slightly over 10,000 Muslim inspired terrorist attacks against people of other faiths or no faith at all.
In those few years, so many attacks by one fanatical religious group upon everyone else would raise alarms with all..except perhaps, those with either very
defective memories, or the "friends of fanatics"..that WILL NOT recognize plain truth.
Just for an exercise..let's cut the figure of attacks in half, say..5,000 attacks over the last few years..
If Presbyterians had committed that many terrorist acts in that period, would people have a good reason to be wary of Presbyterians, perhaps check up on what
is going on in their seminaries and maybe look a bit closer if a Presbyterian tried to take suspicious chemicals aboard an airliner ? Obviously, we have no problem with
"Presbyterian terrorists"..the whole idea sounds ridiculous..BUT HERE IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE..I would be willing to be rest assured that if a renegade group of
Presbyterians did conspire to become a terrorist group, that Presbyterians in general would do their very best to help law enforcement haul in the desperate
criminals.
Now, substitute for Presbyterians..Methodists, Baptists, Mormons, Episcopalians,Seventh Day Adventists, or Roman Catholics..the story would undoubtedly be the same.
One exception; use the term "Fundamentalist Christians "...and you will see these same defenders of Islam, clamoring to have all people suspected of being one of
those the media defined/maligned by that misused term; run off into a concentration camp.
