Where can bullets be found to reload for the 38S&W? They don't have to be 200 gr. just .360 or .361 dia. cast.

Zacharoo,

I just bought bullets from http://www.westernbullet.com/cbip/cbip.html . They shoot great and are a good value.

I've been using Remington 125 grain soft points and they have been fine, I also use 158 LSWC with no problems. If you look in the Speer reloading manual or the MD Smith reloading pages on the web there are several loads you can try.  My Colt Police Positive seems to shoot the .357 and .358 bullets just fine.

I was doing some shopping on the Graf & Sons website when I came across this, "Suters Cast Bullets 38 S&W (.361) 145 RN 500/bx". I didn't check the retail price but dealers price was pretty good at $30.59. For myself I'll probably just continue with the Remington 148gr HBWC.

I submitted an order for some .357 bullets to Beartooth on March 17th and I'm still waiting for them, likewise a friend who ordered .44 bullets at the same time.  They won't be getting any more orders from  either of us. Doesn't much matter what they make if they don't ship them.

Leadhead bullets doesn't list it on there website but I asked nicely and they sized some to .360 for me.  He did some of the 168 keiths and the 200 gr wfn.  I don't think that I have ever waited longer that a week or two to get bullets from him.  He ships ups so the shipping is more than the usps flat rate.
