700 sps varmint 223 should i buy

i was wondering about buying this gun i dont believe there are any rebates on it  but i do want it price is 550 plus tax and it has the green stock on it which i also want should i buy now or wait on a rebate also is there any worry about the green stocked ones running out thanks for the info

All SPS'S currently have the a $30.00 rebate. If you are looking at one with a green stock that means it must be coming from Dicks Sporting goods. From what I understand they had a run of them made with green stocks just for them. I say get it. I am sure it will be a shooter. Dale

i thought the rebate expired a few days ago i went to remingtons web site and didnt see anything about the rebate

I take it back then. I just went there myself and it don't look like they are running it on the SPS rite now. I say still get it you will not be sorry. Dale

ok went this morning after i got of work and told them ill take it it also had a scope on it a decent scope but it wont stay on there long
