After removing scope mounts or whatever,how can you clean off the dried loctite from parts,threads ect? ????? SGB

Use a little heat and alot of elbow grease, heat from a small torch or soldering iron will remove, also use a dremel with the wire brush to remoce from screw threads , put screw head in small vice or channel locks to hold then heat and brush out with the dremel. :D   JIM

Acetone and a brass bristled brush about the size of a toothbrush.  Don't get the acetone on plastic or any kind od stock finish.  Re-oil asap as the acetone will remove the last trace of protection on the metal...  Remember acetone is VERY volatile and will burn quite easily...  and it will disolve most anything.
