When I was a teenager, before Florida was overdeveloped, we had plenty of rabbits in the groves and fish and stingrays in the coastal lagoons. I kept a fiberglass 35 lb recurve in the trunk of my car with a quiver full of field points, 3 small game arrows and two fiberglass fishing arrows. Depending on the time of year I would drive out to the grove or to the Indian River to stalk small game on land or water. This bow never showed signs of deteriorating in the 4 years I had it in my car.
