Burris Timberline scopes

Has anyone used a Burris Timberline scope? I know they are new in that line. The price makes me think they are imported . . . some of those are good, others are . . . well, you know that story. I have a collection of cheap scopes, most of which are a disappointment. The only one to hold up so far has been a Nikon Prostaff 4x rimfire, which now sits on my ought-six Handi. I'm afraid the ought-six will pound it to death. I need a variable around 2x-7x, for deer hunting and range, and the Burris Timberline looks like a good design -- small, light, and affordable. But there's always a catch. Anyone tried one of these?

I doubt the Nikon will have any problem with the 06.  I have several Nikons as well as other brands and they are good.  Nikon has been making lenses for decades, mostly on cameras then scopes.  Only shot a few burris and they seemed as good as any.  DP.
