Question on selling Corbin Mity-Mite swaging press
« on: March 11, 2005, 02:30:51 PM »
A friend of mine died a while back and his wife knew I was into shooting so she sold me several used swaging dies, presses, core molds, core cutters, powder ejector, 357 jackets, 7MM jackets, Mity-Mite Corbin Press, 7MM Corbin dies, 357 corbin mity-mite dies and Corbin 357 dies that you can use in a regular reloading press.
Now the question, would you sell the whole thing, or break it up into parts, like all the 357 stuff, then the 7MM stuff, sell the mity-mite by it's self,  what to do?
The only reason that I bought the stuff was to help the wife after her hubbies death.  I'm more into casting than swaging.

Any help deciding on what to do would be appreciated, thanks in advance for any help.

Question on selling Corbin Mity-Mite swagin

One of the problems you may have is not describing what you have in enough detail to catch the interest of a potential swager. Any knowledgeable swager would bombard you with questions about each and every item you have. As far as selling it part by part or in its entirety, that would depend on exactly what you have: For instance, a press, a few pistol MM die sets, and a core mold to fit along with the jackets would be a nice package. The Reloading die set (R type ,357 that you mention) w/power ejector along with a few 1/2 jackets could be sold as a package also.  The core cutter is a stand alone item. Or, you could list them item by item. For the price folks are getting for used swaging equipment and jackets you could easily sell them piece by piece. If you would like some help preparing descriptions (this is critical) send me a PM. 8)

Do you still have any of the swaging equipment?
