I have aquired a mini 14 in .223 that is in a little rough shape, a cracked gas bock and stock. It still shoots pretty good...pretty good off hand, open sights @ 50 yards. I probably won't shoot it again unless I repair/customize it. I already have a .223 Bushmaster AR-15 that I would use over it anyway. I was wondering if it could be converted to another caliber. If I were to have some work done to it, I'd rather it be something I would use more. Any chance of it being converted to a straight walled pistol caliber...357, .44, .45?
Thank you,
Brian
