Pikes Peak

Well I made it back from Pikes Peak.I found several trails that ranged from over twenty miles long to three miles.
The weather was great but had  a breafe shower that did'nt last long.I took the  short Barr camp trail which was only six miles long.I was glad it was short for I did not give myself a few days to get worked into the high altitude. when I got to arround 13000 feet things got a little slower with the heavy chest and the dizzys starting. That last eleven hundred feet was tough.I took my time and five hours later I reached the house. There were a few people a lot yunger than me using the trails and I dont think I was breathing any harder than the younger people I passed.

From Pikes Peak I went to Rocky Mountain National Park. That park has many good walking trails, the one were a cake walk after the Peak, but I saw a lot of wildlife and verry beautifule seanery.I would regument that park to any one that likes to walk trails,I have been there before and I never get tired of that park. I think it comes in second after Glacier Nat.Park for me.
I had a great time.Lp.

PS.I just heard that West Rocky Mountain Nat Park was closed because of fires.
Dont go were the path leads,go were there is no path and leave a trail.
