Some of these kids can really play the game. A lot better quality than the professional leaguers. Bet the professional scouts are paying attention on these games. :)

They are indeed very good ball players!

Fun is what it's suppose to be all about.

Two years ago my youngest son (12 at the time) played his last year of LITTLE LEAGUE.
He moved up to the SENIOR LEAGUE a year early at the age of 13 instead of waiting until he was 14.
We were one game away from playing for the state championship.
We went into the semi finials undefeated at 15 and 0 for the season.
We lost to a team from northern VA that had been together for two years.
Our boys had only been together for three weeks.
They beat us 9 to 6 IIRC.
We were down 9 to 3 until the 5th inning when we switched pitchers and catchers and staged a come back.
We moved our catcher to pitcher and my son went behind the plate.
He had two tag outs at home and a throw out at third with bases loaded to end the 5th inning.
We scored 3 runs in the 6th and held them runless for their finial at bat.
We were the only team to hold them under 10 runs and the only team to score more than 4 runs against them the whole season.
The team that beat us went to the semi finals at the LITTLE LEAGUE championships in WILLIAMSPORT and lost to GEORGIA who won the title that year.
Even though we didn't make it to WILLIAMSPORT and get on TV, I felt we had done an outstanding job against some of the best there was in the league at the time.

My two boys have been on teams that have won their division championship and gone to the state championships three times.
Not to bad for what some call a small town hick team!
These are some of my favorite memories of time spent with my boys that I will hold in my heart forever!!!

It is always great to see the young have fun doing something they love to do.
