That is what I was wondering about. Warranty and barrels.  Could be the last window of opportunity to get a barrel for an H&R is closing rapidly.
I wonder if they will pull the same stunt with Marlin too.

I have a shotgun H&R frame with the name Marlin and a Marlin SN on it, H&R will not fit a barrel to it, so I would not be surprised if they stop fitting barrels to frames if they change the name.  Larry

I hope I'm wrong.  But,  at this point,  I can't say I'm happy about REMINGTON'S purchase of MARLIN and H&R 1871.

Paranoia, conspiracy theories, and manic delusion are what make America strong and keep internet boards alive.

I can sympaththize with any employees who might be adversely effected but to me seeing the gun hating State of Massachusetts  lose a gun factory seems like poetic justice.
