well i got my hands on a used 760D for 10$ and can i used this for some rat shooting or other and are wadcuts the best to use?(i killed everything for mice to bevers with wadcuts in my 2200) and is a 4x15scope alright or should i put my simmos 3-9x40mm on there?

760's are nice guns, but i don't think you can kill a beaver with one.
Bunnies and squirrels are as big as you would want to try with a 760. Not quite the power of a 2200.
You may want to do a few mods to make it a nicer gun. Here's one of my 760's. I'm thinking of installing a flat top piston for more power.

I would be extremely reluctant to try to kill a beaver with a 760, it just isn't enough.  You might kill one with a perfect hit, but can you always deliver a perfect hit?

As for lighter stuff, I would use pointed or round nosed pellets for good penetration.  I have killed bunnies at close range with b-b's because the gun was loaded with them to chase away bunnies & squirrels.  A couple of garden-munching bunnies were close enough to whack with a b-b (10 pumps), but I would have loaded a pellet if I had one with me.

i have a hard time making head shots with it so it going to be used for rats and starling shooting. Also my 2200 is the real killer from starlings at 50 yards to beavers at 30 it killed them all with one shot. The .22 is the King of hunting to me.

I find that the .22 cal. is great for hunting.  I've got an RWS 36 that shoots Crosman Premier round-nose pellets at about 900 fps.  A good shot on a woodchuk drops it on the spot.  The 760 is the grab gun for chasing critters away.

Jamal, Try a few different pellets, it (the air rifle) will tell you which ones it likes best.
