Cool little gun, but I can't figure out why anyone "needs" one.
Can't get a holster, and any "sling" that might fit it will just cause it to bounce off your chest. It's akward to shoot offhand. I guess they're cool from a bench, though....would be a fun plinker for those who have younger shooters or their own range at home.
How is the new crinkle painted finish holding up on yours? The new plastic trigger guards?
I've been hearing mixed reviews.
IF you really want your charger to shine, buy a new barrel (or have your current one set-back and rechambered with a match chamber) and get the trigger worked.
My Ruger MKIII 22/45 will do .5xx" @ 50yds with mediocre ammo.
I am not having any problems at all .
I don't think people"" need"" most guns , but i wanted one and it's a lot of fun to shoot .
Don't find it awkward to shoot at all , found it very nice to shoot . Put a short sling on it and it stayed under my shoulder just fine .
I don't see the need to spend 150 -250 ( or MORE ) dollars for a new barrel to tighten up the group ( 1/4-1/2 in ) . I '' group at 50 yards with cheap ammo is GOOD to me . I took it out today and was hitting 3''-4'' targets at 100 - 120 yards ( rang finder ) even with the stiff trigger . I hiked around the hills for over 5 mile today shooting at targets with out the range finder ( checked them after i shot ) and hit almost all the dirt clods , pine cones i shot at . I found very little bad reviews before i bought it .
? I will keep shooting this stock Charger and enjoy every minute of it !!! I got it to shoot small game not paper and i think it will do fine .!
