http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/s_588141.html But I think this "split" is just a reflection of what some "National" organizations believe the priorities of their grass roots funding are.....or perhaps what they are "wanting" or "shifting" their grass roots funding towards.
I guess, what I'm trying to say is that for the National organizations it's "Money talks and Bu&&$^*T walks". And to raise big bucks these days it's quite popular to tout "global warming" even though I haven't the slightest idea what the National Wildlife Federation can do....or has the power to do to effect global warming. But, I'm quite certain that if you waive the "global warming" banner in front of a few yuppies and dinks, along with a name like "National Wildlife Federation" you will get more money than you will with a name like "Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsmens Clubs".
