NRA OPERATION STRIKE FORCE ( PLEASE READ)

The NRA exposed CNN in a Lie that showed a range test that made it look like pre ban guns were more dangerous and destructive than Post ban Guns. The NRA made CNN back down and admit that they staged the demonstration. Due to this success the NRA has a new program that any of you can participate in member or not called: NRA COMMUNICATIONS STRIKE FORCE. This program is a grass roots program that you can contact Wayne La Pierre or a NRA staff person and report anti gun bias in the media. If you hear or see a biased anti gun story on the broadcast media write down the date, time and station information.send a email with the info to strikeforce2004@nrahq.org or call (877)NRA 2004. When you see a story in the local newspaper copy it and send it also. If we all keep a eye out for anti gun stories in the media and report them to the NRA we can do our part in stopping the Anti gun Media from spreading lies and fabrications. Remember you do not have to be a NRA member to do this. I am sure it will make the media stand up and take notice we are tired of all the falsehoods being presented. Jim

Excellant post with great info on this new NRA program. I wish they would have one of these for reporting politicians who spread lies as well on this stuff.

Cabin 4, Thanks for the kind reply. Now if we can get the word out I am always amaized at the folks who own guns and do not belong to a gun group like the NRA or GOA or what ever. OR I hear negative responses of guys who bitch about the NRA wanting Money all the Time. It cost money to win a war and they do not seem to realize that. I for one and I am sure you will also use this program.I have allready contacted the strike force 3 times with info that they can use. Jim

I agree completly. No action is an action. If you own a gun and you believe in the 2nd Amedment, you should be involved as long as your finances permit. $25 or $35 a year is not much and I will go out on limb and say that anyone who is active in hunting or firearms can afford to set aside this small amount. Yes, all these organizations what more. So does my church but I do what I can and ignore the rest.

I get so much stuff from these organizations it makes my head spin with me being a Life NRA member and my son and wife are memebers as well. So you can image how many calls and mail we get from the NRA. Couple that with my memberships in the rest of the orgs (Listed below) you can imagine how many phone and mail solicitations I get. But I look at it this way, THESE ORGANIZATIONS ARE FIGHTING FOR ME, SO SHOULDENT THEY NOT ASK ME TO HELP ? OF COURSE THEY SHOULD. HOW CAN I ASK THEM TO HELP AND FIGHT FOR ME AND NOT HELP THEM IN RETURN  ? That would be pretty rude.

Even if you don't have $$ to join these orgs. You can still e-mail senators, congressman, local state reps, Govorners, ect. E-mail cost zero.

I try to do all that I can. But I never feel its enough.
