Would this be the subforum for 50 cal?
« on: November 28, 2008, 05:30:16 AM »
I am considering buying a 50 cal long range rifle based on the 50 bmg case.

There are a few options out there.  $3,000 would probably be the upper limit of my budget. However,  If I could get a good quality bolt action less I would be all for that.

I can get my hands on a Armalight 50, Is that a decent rifle?  Are there better options in 50bmg rifles out there in my budget range?

I have seen the bushmaster offerings but at $4,000 dealers cost that is a bit out of my range.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Probably not. It would best fit into Self Defense and exotics weapons forum. I'll move it there for you.

Ray I really can't give you much advise. This is the one I have.

As for how it compares to others on the market, sorry, don't know. It does everything they say it will and more, just never owned another.
