« on: May 31, 2009, 03:14:51 AM »
a friend just bought a bretta 92/96  full size in 40s&w , it has night sights and the front sight is part of the slide , its a older cop gun, the gun shoots about 4 inches low!   i looking for opionions on the best adj sight set up , even if the front sight has to milled off and a dovetail has to be cut the slide,  the  milling can also be done for the rear sight such as lo mount rear sight

I have an older M9 that I added an adjustable sight set to.  I picked it up on Ebay and I only had to remove the rear sight and tap on the new adjustable.  The new front sight fit over the existing sight and required 2 small holes be drilled to pin on the new front sight.  All 92/96 series guns use the same sights.

why not try some diffrent bullet weights, and find what his pistol likes the best.

Right now I do have a 92fs sitting at beretta awating them to put a set of factory adjustable sights on for me. Mostly because I like adjustable sights
