I started reloading about 3-4 years ago with a .308, then to a .243.  all for deer hunting.  Now this year I will be trying handgun hunting with a .44 mag.  So now I M onto handgun cartridge reloading.  This is all my brother's fault!!  Be very wary of friends and brothers that say "OH, you will have great fun."  you will, but you have to keep buying more stuff.  Is there any end :-D  :eek:  :)

Nope!  You have just contracted reloaderitus for which there's no known cure. :)  Next is how to sneak new things into the reloading room past the wife.  It's just a downward spiral from here my friend, welcome to the club!

Yeah, and if you ever get bit by the black powder bug it just starts all over again.  Now I'm casting bullets, makeing lube, and generally getting in deeper and deeper.

Ain't it fun?!!

Holy crud, Ironknees, you are so right! I have been shooting some rifle and bottleneck cartridges a lot lately and it is very expensive to do so.  I just dropped $92 for powder, primers, and bullets for use with two calibers. Ouch! That's about enough to make 200 cartridges. On the other hand they are top-quality cartridges and I'd hate to think of what they'd cost me if I were buying them alread made at the factory.

That same $92 gets me 2000 cast bullets and 1000 primers for shooting 45ACP.

What I'm trying to figure out is how to order that new T/C Omega rifle I want, and have UPS deliver the blasted thing while I am home, and she isn't... You know, sort of "sneak" it into the gun cabinet without her knowing it...  :?

That Omega has some very nice design elements, but as I look at modern muzzle loaders I am beginning to see the value of Savage's smokeless muzzle loader.
