saftey on mosin nagant

I found a man who puts a ring on the saftey and looks like a great item for using the saftey on a mosin,www.anglefire.com ,take a look and see how you like it. He go,s by The Bolt Man.

Have seen that ring put on safety on another sight but would like to see someone who does it . Can't find anything about safety on sight given. The bolts is all it shows. Can you give more info? Thanks Zacharoo

Due to being lazy I have not looked at any links posted , but I had a friend do the welding and he welded about 3/4 of a ring onto one of my mosins , did this because I scoped it and with the scope over hang you could not operate the safety very well at all , he did not think it would hold or even weld up right , but its been on there for a few yrs now , not as fast as a sporting rifle but plenty functional

Can you buy just the cocking piece with the ring?  I would love that because if I wanted to make the rifle historically accurate again I could just switch back to the original cocking piece.

I have a 91/59 with one of Jim R's(The Boltman) ring safety's.This is a very good addition to the rifle.I heartily recomend this.
