I don't know if this is a common problem (hope not) but I had a total failure to fire at the range today.
After running apx 25 rounds throught the gun, the trigger return spring slipped, renduring the gun completely useless.
I had to take the gun completely apart (1st time) to figger out what had happened.
I appears that the other end of the spring puts pressure on the bar that connects the trigger to the hammer and when it slipped the bar didn't properly connect with the hammer. Once back in place it worked again.
I have had this gun for years and this was the first problem I have ever had...but this is a carry gun and now my confidence is gone.
I mean...to pull the trigger in a self defence situation and nothing, not even click....
Any ideas on how to keep this from happening again?
