Avoiding boredom and inactivity

Since retiring, I'm often asked, "What do you old guys do, now that you're retired ?"

Well, I have a retired friend with a background in chemical engineering, and one of the things we enjoy doing, is turning beer, whiskey, and martinis into urine, and we're pretty good at it too !

Not sure what retired guys do. Seems like most of the guys I know that retired died (of boredom????) within a couple of years.

Huh, I've been retired 12 years and am not even feeling sick yet. I'm still trying to figure out how I used to have time to work though.

 Well i have been retired over 22 years, I got lot hobbies to keep me busy.
 Not only that I am going to live till I draw retrement for 33 years same as I worked.

I have been retired for 5 years and I feel like I am busy all the time. Hope I can draw retirement for a long time.

 i'm retired and stay so busy that i wonder how i ever found the time to go to work. The biggest drawback is that i never know what day or date it is I was writing a check and paused at the date and the helpful cashier gave me the date and I said I'm trying to figgure out what month it i. ;D
