:)  Has anyone had any experience with Blackmon carbide swaging dies.
Would they be capable of producing projectiles good enough for benchrest.
Thanks
Graham

Dr. Larry Blackmon`s address is: 303 McMillan Rd.
                                            P.0. Box 1056
                                            W. Monroe, LA 71294-1056
                                        Work Phone: 318-7257

Dr. Blackmon`s Dies are cheaper than Richard or David CORBIN`s .

Blackmon does not make any carbide dies. His dies are made of steel.
Carbide dies are very expensive, compared to steel dies. You can buy two set of Larrys'  dies for almost the same price of one carbide die (one die not one set!!!)

Mr. Blackmon does do carbide dies, unless he has stopped recently. Most recent contact, while back, he had info on ordering carbide dies. When I talked with him, he said "for commercial, o.k."/ "for personal use, too expensive..." But there are/were available from him. Fine man. luck.

I have ordered a set of his dies last year and asked him if he makes carbide dies. His answer was no. I have his price list and there is nothing about carbide. Perhaps he can order the finished carbide insert and build a new die with it.

He must have stopped. I stand corrected. Still have the order info with the carbides somewhere, but if out of date... fine. His business. Luck.
