By now you have probably either purchased the gun, or decided on something else.I just got around to reading you post. I purchased an Uplander 20ga with screw in chokes a little over two years ago. I have used it for two consecutive upland bird seasons now. I really like it. I think it is the ideal SxS for the guy like me that doesn't have a lot of money to spend. I took it out right after I bought it and shot some clay birds, found I had only missed a few and that was mostly my fault. I would recommend the gun. It's not an SKB but then the money is a lot less. I would compare it to the old Stevens 311. Sort of built for the common man. No domestic manufacturers make a good SxS anymore. I have an affection for the SxS myself, moreso that the OU. Good luck with your shotgun if you have it by now. If not, don't hesitate to buy it, it's a good purchase.
