OK...I got this crazy idea

You know how when we were kids...there was always that silent "dog whistle"  ?      we couldn't hear squat......but the dogs went nuts........Do you think , that if a fella took one out to his favorite coyote fields, that the "dog whistle"...would raise a coyote howl?    Or maybe bring one in ?    I mean , maybe it is TOO simple.....but they are dogs...right     I bet someone else has thought of this.....probably even gave it a try ....I just wondered..........told you it was a crazy idea....

Guess it he thinks it is something he can eat he will come into it.  Wouldn't hold my breath waiting however.  If you try it let us know, I do know that high frequencies don't travel as well as lower ones, so you may turn blue blowing that hard .  Larry

LOL...Ok, point taken......I will try it in wide open spaces....prefereably across water in a previuously flooded slough I hunt .......it is the only water source around for a few miles........so I find it a great place to perch and wait........skeeters sure are bad this time of year......but I do see armadillos and deer almost every time I go , ...I guess the skunks and opossums and other vermin have gone nocturnal due to teh heat....

I don't know about calling one in that way but it might work to get it to stop and look at you. Especially ones that have been hunted alot and have had every trick in the book thrown at them.
