Sorry, don't watch TV.

Not often something appears on it worth watching.  I will admit to it happening once in a while though.

It wasn't on a rerun of the Mythbusters "tree cannon" episode, was it?

I got contacted a while back by the Mythbusters folks about blank adapters and live ammo at the same time, dispelling a myth in movies you can just change magazines in a MG and use either. They asked me what credentials I had and if I'd ever actually done or seen it with my own eyes (I actually had on active duty once). I never heard back from them again, and a friend told me they did do a show along those lines.
These shows can be a pain when they don't go off, but a lot of fun when they do. I've done a PBS "docudrama" years ago that was fun and was flown out to "Mail Call" for the History Channel when it was still being done. That show seems to pop up about 2-3 times a year, every few months I get an e-mail from someone saying, "Hey man, I just saw you on History Channel!" It's a lot of fun... once. Trust me, you get tired of it fast.
